I live in Texas. 2 friends and I are planning a trip to the Miami area and want to do some fishing. We are looking at the end of February. A brother of my firend lives there and has said that all boat, gas, gear etc... is paid for just come down and fish. How is the fishing this time of year in this area? I dont know much about that area so help is needed. You can email me direct at gmgg@att.net
Thank you for you help. Any information is appreciated. GBrooks
I imagine the brother of your friend has you covered. Fishing is good in Florida year-round. Chase what is in season, don't get caught up in targeting one species and you will do well.

Florida is nice in the way that there is saltwater and freshwater fishing. All you need to do is decide where you want to go and for what. for saltwater, Biscayne Bay around Miami is very good, and for freshwater, Lake Okeechobee is hard to beat.
