Spending the week of July 4th on Santa Rosa and bring my Blazer Bay.
What would be the best advice for inshore fishing and basic locations?
Do they have Marinas where I can buy bait?
We are staying on the Sound side.

There must not be any fish in Pensacola.
There's not even any guides listed in Pensacola under the Florida Charter Association.
That's ok I'll just continue to enjoy my Louisiana fishing where I can keep 5 Redfish and 25 Specs per day and I'll just enjoy your beaches and boat riding.

I find it sad that you didn't have anyone help you out on this fourm. I was in pensacola for a couple of years a couple of years ago. Hopefully while you were there some of the local fisherman helped you out. The fishing in Pensacola is similar to Lousiana. Fishing from the beach or in the inlets you can hook up with some whiting and Red's. Spanish mackeral, King mackeral and pompano can be caught from inshore as well as on the pier. For the Red's I would use strips of whiting which worked really well as well as shrimp. Also flounder are around the area but i never caught a good sized one. Hope this helps who ever plans on fishing there.
