Hi guys, I play a little on TFF, I own Dobyns Rods and I have a few dealers, staffers, and quite a few friends in Florida. I was down the week before Christmas, NOT the usual Florida weather, dang near froze to death. GREAT weights at the Big O event. AWESOME!!
Welcome Gary. We had the coldest December on record in 2010, so our fishing is a little behing schedule so far this year. With the latest forecast things are starting to look up.
You Guys don't know cold lol. I live In Canada we have a foot of snow and ice. I wanna bass fish so bad and get my boat out, I wish I was in florida,Texas or california. Im new year also Kinda want to learn from everyone and how they fish and what works in general.
It's never to cold to fish!! Here are a few pics when went to Lake Monticello about a month ago. Saturday was nice but we woke up Sunday morning to rain and sleet then it turned to snow. The first pic is the front deck of the boat at 9:30 am. We put in at the ramp at 7:30 am. The 2nd pic is the first fish of the morning my partner caught. It weighed 7.5 lbs. We left shortly after due to a hour and a half drive home. Side note for those that don't know this lake is a power plant lake and the water temp was 69 degrees.
