Need some help figuring out what type of fish I hooked into today. This thing is very large for the pan fish I am used to getting. If need be I got a few more pics. Thanks for any help you all can give..

Where in the world in florida did you catch that, I know excatly what kind of fish it is but I have never heard of those being in any lakes or big ponds in Florida. That fish is a Talapia and it is outstanding table fare, I hope the place where you caught it had some male and females in there and that they were able to spawn a couple of times.
