Went with a fried a few days ago and it was slow....for a bit. He was live bait fishing and i was casting lures. He caught 1 small cat and I did not have astrike. Then a young guy came by and was looking at a ball of bait RIGHT next to the wall we were standing on. He said throw a live shrimp right next to the wall and bingo. We were catching grouper and snapper. All undersize but close to legal. THen Bob got a hit by the bridge support and it was on.We had light gear and this fish was not turning at all. We figure it was a good size snook as we had seen a few cruising around. Good times had by all.
